Our Mission

The Pacific Northwest Gordon Setter Rescue is devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing Gordon Setters. We labor to ensure that each and every dog finds a safe, loving home for the extent of their lives.

Ensuring ALL Setters have loving homes across the Pacific Northwest and all North America.

Pre-Adoption Evaluation

Our experienced and knowledgeable members, along with local experts observe and evaluate each dog. Behavioral and social needs of each rescue are considered so that we can ensure the animal finds the best home and gets set up for success in their new life.

Rapid Retreival

We are equipped and ready to retrieve dogs in need at short notice. Our rescue knows and understands that some cases are urgent. Therefore team members are dispersed through the PNW and are ready to provide safe transportation and temporary housing throughout the region.

Veterinary Care

We have established relationships with local vets whom are trusted and ready to provide a comprehensive checkup and any necessary care on short notice upon our retrieval of a Setter in need.

Adoption Support

We provide guidance and assistance to families adopting Gordon Setters to ensure the perfect match.

These feathered delights are treated to all of their grooming and hair care needs so that they are also looking their best when the meet their new families.

If evaluation shows that the rescued pup needs time and training to guarantee that they are ready for a place and family to call theirs; we make sure they get it!

For Decades our friends at the PNWGSC have proudly rescued and re-homed hundreds of Gordon Setters.

Thanks to Pacific North West Gordon Setter Rescue our boy Felix has finally found his family. Every Setter dog needs a family and sometimes it takes time to find them. A little patience and love and he found his place on our farm with our animals and three other dogs!
